NATIONAL GET OUTDOORS DAY

You are invited to attend the FREE Mormon Lake Lodge Outdoor Festival on June 8th and celebrate National Get Outdoors Day. Over 50 exhibitors representing sportsmen, conservation groups, government agencies, outdoor recreation, natural resources, wildlife conservation and environmental organizations will provide family-friendly and fun experiences at informative displays and exhibits for all attendees of all ages at the Mormon Lake Lodge Outdoor Festival on June 8, 2013 from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
There are lots of free kid’s activities that include fishing in the trout pond, archery, games, and live wildlife viewing with many birds, reptiles and mammals from the Arizona Game and Fish Department, Arizona Herpetological Association, and the Adobe Mountain Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.
Every attendee will receive a free raffle ticket for a chance to win two nights lodging at Mormon Lake Lodge.
In addition to attending the Outdoor Festival attendees can celebrate National Get Outdoors Day by hiking, mountain biking, or horseback riding in the Coconino National Forest surrounding Mormon Lake Lodge. For those who want to explore the forest trails on rental equipment, there will be 4-wheel drive Rangers, mountain bikes, and horseback riding available for a fee.
Mormon Lake Lodge is located 30 miles southeast of Flagstaff in Mormon Lake Village. If you are driving south on Lake Mary Road from Flagstaff, turn right near milepost 324 on Mormon Lake Road and drive 8 miles to the Lodge. If you are driving north on Lake Mary Road from Happy Jack, turn left near milepost 317 on Mormon Lake Road and drive 2 miles to the Lodge. Look for the Outdoor Festival parking signs.
