Topawa

Topawa

Just north of the Mexican border, within the Tohono O'odham Indian Reservation, is Topawa. This small town is home to the Tohono O'odham Nation Cultural Center & Museum, also called “Himdag Ki: Hekĭhu, Hemu, Im B I-Ha'ap,” seeks to instill pride in local Native American traditions through exhibits, education and outreach.

The town is situated a few miles off Highway 86 near Sells, between Organ Pipe National Monument and the Coronado National Forest.
