    The Arizona Office of Tourism (AOT) announced today that Madden Media, a Tucson-based media company, has been awarded the contract to produce AOTs 2010 Official State Visitors Guide (OSVG). The contract was awarded to Madden Media on Friday, July 31. Madden Media employs 81 Arizona workers in Phoenix and Tucson. Production costs for the guide will be supported through advertising sales.

    Sherry Henry, director of the Arizona Office of Tourism (AOT), announced today that AOT is awarding $1.1 million in matching grants to tourism organizations and tribal entities around the state for Fiscal Year 2010 (FY 2010).

    Governor Jan Brewer joined members of the Arizona tourism industry to recognize and honor industry leaders at the 2009 Governors Conference on Tourism. Arizona Office of Tourism (AOT) Director Sherry Henry and Deputy Director Mark Stanton presented the awards along with the Governor during the Awards Luncheon at The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa in Scottsdale.

    PHOENIX (July 9, 2009) Despite current economic conditions, the tourism industry in Arizona continues to be a significant economic engine for the state, according to statistics released by the Arizona Office of Tourism (AOT) at the annual Governors Conference on Tourism, July 9 and 10, 2009. Sherry Henry, AOT director, addressed more than 500 Arizona tourism industry professionals at the opening session of the conference where she announced the positive impact of the travel and tourism industry.

    PHOENIX (May 12, 2009) In a united effort to promote both the great summer values throughout Arizona as a tourist destination and the economic value of the tourism industry, the Arizona Office of Tourism (AOT), the Arizona Hotel & Lodging Association (AzHLA) and other statewide industry partners have launched a new in-state summer campaign, Value Arizona, featuring ValueAZ.com, a one-stop Web site dedicated to showcasing statewide summer travel deals.
