Press Trip Policy

The Media Relations Department of the Arizona Office of Tourism is pleased to assist, when given ample advance notice, qualified journalists in pursuit of stories and coverage featuring Arizona.

Freelance travel writers or feature writers, TV and radio show broadcast staff, as well as journalists working on Arizona travel-related stories,which require assistance to plan a visit to the Grand Canyon State should submit a request including the following information to kworoniec@azot.gov

• Description of story assignment including number of words, destinations featured, and anticipated date of publish 
• Description of publication featuring the story including circulation, readership, unique visitors per month, and/or ad value figure 
• Desired dates of travel, length of stay, and explanation of story criteria
• Explanation of other pertinant details 

Please note that complimentary arrangements are provided at the discretion of the host business, and are subject to availability. Black-out periods may be experienced throughout the year that may necessitate a media rate, especially at hotels. Please allow at least six weeks advance notice for requests for itinerary assistance.
