Summer Calendar of Events Now Available from the Arizona Office of Tourism
May 22, 2007
Travelers can find details on events from every region of the state such as, the Commander Boats Regatta in Lake Havasu; the Pioneer Day Celebration in Snowflake; the Prescott Rodeo; or the Butterfly Walk at Boyce Thompson Arboretum.
"The summer calendar is filled with great information for planning that weekend getaway," said Margie A. Emmermann, Director of the Arizona Office of Tourism. "It also helps us kick-off our instate travel campaign to help encourage Arizona residents to get out this summer, travel around and discover all that the Grand Canyon State has to offer."
The Summer Calendar of Events is now available at the Arizona Office of Tourism, 1110 W. Washington, Ste. 155, Phoenix, and also available at local visitor centers throughout the state. Calendar information is also available at www.arizonagide.com.
