Win a Spring Training Vacation Package from the Arizona Office of Tourism!

February 09, 2011

Deadline to Enter is Tuesday, February 15, 2011

What’s your vision of the perfect Arizona Cactus League Spring Training day? Tell us and you’ll have the chance to win a $1,600 vacation package from the Arizona Office of Tourism (AOT)!

Is it munching on hotdogs while sitting in the stands watching the “boys of spring” play ball or is it soaking up the sun in the outfield waiting to catch the next homerun?  Is it catching an early game than heading back to a luxurious resort for a refreshing spa experience and getting ready for a night on the town? Or shopping to you drop and then discovering Arizona’s great outdoor adventures! Use your imagination and your creativity to tell us about your ultimate Arizona Cactus League Spring Training day!

Fans of Arizona’s official Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/arizonatravel) can provide a two-minute (or less) video that describes their ideal Arizona Spring Training day that features one of the 15 Cactus League Major League Baseball Spring Training Teams. Creative descriptions can include which Cactus League team they would like to see and how else they would enjoy the gorgeous spring weather in Arizona.

AOT will judge the videos. The finalist will win:

  • 4 tickets to a Cactus League Spring Training game at Camelback Ranch (home of the Chicago White Sox and the Los Angeles Dodgers)
  • 3 night stay for 4 at the Wigwam Golf Resort & Spa along with a 2 rounds of championship golf, a family golf clinic, dinner for 4 at Litchfield’s restaurant, daily access to the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa
  • Dinner for 4 at Haus Murphy’s (German restaurant and local phoenix attraction)
  • Tours of Arizona attractions

Videos can be submitted through Tuesday, February 15, 2011 on the “contests” tab at http://www.facebook.com/arizonatravel. The video needs to be less than two minutes long and must be less than 1,024MB in size.  Rules and regulations are also posted on http://www.facebook.com/arizonatravel.
