Tubac Presidio State Historic Park
This park is scheduled to closed on March 29, 2010
Following a bloody revolt of the Pima Indians in late 1751, the Spanish Colonial government founded the Presidio San Ignacio de Tubac. Visitors may view portions of the original foundation, including walls and plaza floor of the 1752 Commandant’s quarters, as well as artifacts that represent various periods of Tubacís history.
